Welcome to www.shorehamweather.info and the page dedicated to Boarders active along the South Coast and in particular
Southwick, Shoreham and Lancing Beaches. The Beaches are now a major venue for all forms of board riding ie surfing, wind surfing and kite surfing. Surfing is mainly confined to Southwick Beach end of Shoreham and occasionally between the Harbour Arms. Wind surfing and kite surfing can be found all the way from the Harbour entrance to Lancing and onto Worthing. Kite surfing has really taken off (excuse the pun) in recent years and Shoreham is probably one of the foremost sites in the country for this new exciting sport. A number of local retailers have sprung-up over the last five years, offering specialist equipment and training facilities for board riders of all persuasions (see adverts to the left).
